The Right Support Changes Everything

My mental health therapy services are human first. No jargon. No judgement. Just real help.

Who I Work With

I work with adults aged 18 and over. Your therapy is tailored to you. And remember this. You do not need a diagnosis to start. If you are struggling, we can work together to understand what is happening.

Here are the areas I have experience with.

Depression

Depression drains mood, motivation, and energy. It brings low self esteem and hopelessness. Routine falls apart. Habits slip. CBT helps you re engage with meaningful activities slowly and steadily.

Low Self Esteem

You hold negative beliefs about yourself. Past experiences shaped them. You feel not good enough. CBT helps you build a kinder, more balanced view of who you are.

Core Beliefs

These are deep beliefs like “I am unlovable” or “I am worthless.” They run in the background. CBT brings them into the light. Then we gently challenge and change them.

Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse is control, coercion, threats, or violence from a partner, ex-partner, or family member. Survivors are three times more likely to develop mental illness. I offer a safe space to heal.

Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

GAD is constant worry about everyday life. You feel tense, restless, and mentally exhausted. CBT helps reduce worry and build tolerance for uncertainty.

Catastrophising and Worry

You imagine the worst case scenario every time. Your mind runs “what if” loops all day. CBT brings balance back to your thinking.

Intense fear of specific things. Flying. Needles. Animals. You avoid them completely. CBT uses gradual exposure to reduce fear and rebuild confidence.

Intrusive Thoughts

Unwanted, shocking thoughts or images pop into your head. They feel frightening. But they are common. CBT helps you understand them and take away their power.

Social Anxiety

Fear of being judged or embarrassed in social situations. You avoid people or monitor yourself closely. CBT reduces self-focus and builds real confidence around others.

Panic Disorder

Sudden intense panic attacks. Racing heart. Dizziness. Fear of losing control. CBT breaks the cycle of fear and avoidance so panic loses its grip.

Illness Anxiety

You worry constantly about your health. Every twitch feels like something serious. You seek reassurance again and again. CBT helps you stop that cycle.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive rituals (compulsions). CBT with Exposure and Response Prevention breaks the compulsive cycle for good.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance, and emotional numbness after trauma. CBT helps you process what happened safely. The ongoing impact can reduce significantly.

Emetophobia

Intense fear of vomiting. You avoid certain foods, places, or situations because of it. CBT helps reduce that fear and gives you back a sense of safety and control.
